ADMISSIONS ASSISTANT - REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Admissions Assistant

Part Time, 52 Weeks per annum

Applications are invited for the Part Time post of Admissions Assistant at The Royal Masonic School for Girls. Reporting to the Registrar, the successful candidate will support both the Registrar and Assistant Registrar managing communication flows and data management in this key area of the School.

RMS is a leading independent girls’ day/boarding School with 930+ pupils aged 2 to 18 and over 240 teaching and support staff, situated on a 200-acre parkland site near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. The School provides an exceptionally favourable working environment, with engaged students and stunning surroundings.

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage, analyse and present data in a meaningful way.  Being client facing, this role would suit a candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to provide the standard of customer service which our families expect.   This role has been created as part of a reorganisation of the Admissions team and provides an opportunity to join a dynamic, busy area of the school.  The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring that prospective pupil data is effectively captured, maintained and managed. Attendance at admissions events will be an expectation of the role.

Data Manager - Required as soon as possible

 DATA MANAGER

We are looking for a highly motivated, pragmatic analyst and problem solver to take up the post of Data Manager within our dynamic administration team.   A key member of the team the Data Manager will be responsible for the operation and management of the schools MIS System (iSAMS) including the annual rollover process for setting up the new school year. The Data Manager will ensure that best use is made of the data to support the day to day operation of the school, encouraging rigour and best practice in data management across all parts of the school community by developing robust and meaningful data collection strategies to ensure data integrity.   We are offering this 52 week per year role on a full time basis, reduced hours may be available for the right candidate.

Applications are invited for the role of Head of Pre-school, Ruspini House. We are a small, friendly, caring community within the larger Royal Masonic School family, guided by the same inclusive and nurturing ethos and committed to offering the highest quality education for all children. The post holder will lead and manage 13 staff working closely with other Departments and building excellent effective relationships between the staff and parents. Ruspini House opens during term time and offers camps during the main school holidays. The successful candidate will work during normal pre-school hours and will be expected to take an active role both in the classroom and in the wrap around care when necessary.

Our aim at Ruspini House is to provide a stimulating, happy and positive environment where all children are encouraged to reach their full potential through a healthy balance of learning and play. Each day is rich in opportunities which encourage independence and spontaneous learning. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, with a focus on each child’s individual needs and talents to allow him/her to develop at his/her own pace to be well prepared for his/her entry into their first school. Enrichment activities such as French, Spanish, ICT, Tennis, and Music are offered to complement the children’s learning and our highly qualified staff provide each child with exemplary care and exciting learning opportunities, all whilst having lots of fun!

IT Technician - Required as soon as possible

IT TECHNICIAN

Part Time, 52 weeks per year

Applications are invited for the post of IT Technician at The Royal Masonic School for Girls. Reporting to the Network Manager the successful candidate will have a key role and responsibility for helping maintain and manage the school’s computer network.

RMS is a leading independent girls’ day/boarding School with 940+ pupils aged 2 to 18 and over 240 teaching and support staff, situated on a 200-acre parkland site near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. The School provides an exceptionally favourable working environment, with engaged students and stunning surroundings.

The IT Technician will join and support our busy IT Support team. The post holder will need to be able to maintain hardware and software, carry out routine checks of desktop computers and servers, and provide technical support to staff and pupils. Knowledge of general PC hardware, software maintenance and fault diagnosis is a requirement.

The post is 23 hours per week, hours negotiable.
