As part of a busy team the Secretary will require a flexible approach and the ability to act on their own initiative to organise and manage the Pre-School Office administration. As the key point of contact on all administrative matters, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to represent the school to high standards, to both internal and external individuals and organisations, and to build relationships effectively is also essential.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who is able to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary, inspiring the trust and confidence of the Head. Open to new ideas and practices and possessing an adaptable, positive “can do” attitude. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm and enjoy working within a team with all members of the school community. Importantly also displaying an affinity and understanding of the ethos of the school.

Applications are invited for the post of School Administrator at The Royal Masonic School for Girls. Reporting to the Finance and Administration Bursar, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of administrative and organisational services within a dynamic busy School Office.
RMS is a leading independent girls’ day/boarding School with 930+ pupils aged 2 to 18 and over 240 teaching and support staff, situated on a 200-acre parkland site near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. The School provides an exceptionally favourable working environment, with engaged students and stunning surroundings.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible, a skilled administrator, well organised with strong communication skills and a customer focused approach, both for our internal stakeholders and our parents and pupils. Currently undergoing a restructure it is an exciting time to join the administration team at RMS and there will be the opportunity to contribute to and shape the structure of the team and support services.
